Do you have a special trip planned this summer? It’s my favourite time of the year to pack because the clothes and shoes are lightweight which means I can squeeze a few more items in my suitcase. Summer fashion is filled with colour and fun, flirty styles that ensure we stay cool during hot summer vacations.

Seven-Day Stylish Summer Packing List
Choose fun summer colours and mix and match flowing skirts or slim-fitting pencil capris pants with shorts and tanks. It doesn’t matter what time of the year you pack; the trick is to pack clothes that work in combination with one another.
Accessories
It’s summer so be sure to pack sun protection and include a hat and large sunglasses to protect your face and eyes. Bring out your favourite summer sandals, but remember that if sightseeing is involved, you’ll need comfortable shoes that you can walk around in for miles. Pack a pair of flip-flops for lounging by the pool or at the beach; they also provide a break for your feet if you’ve been walking a lot.

Sunscreen Products
Last year, I was all about Vichy sunscreen products. My search for the perfect non-sticky sunscreen continues. This year I found Neutrogena and I love their stick which goes on like a deodorant and is dry and not sticky. So I tried more of their products and I have to report they are all very sheer, not sticky and absorb well into my skin.

Delicates
Avoid bulky, lacy bras as they will show through your lightweight tees and tops. Think breathable, lightweight for all your delicates especially if you are going to super hot destinations. Be sure to pack a bathing suit or two and remember a maxi dress can double as a cover-up for you at the pool or beach.

Tops
Tanks and t-shirts that can be dressed up or down are easy to pack, and you may get to include a few extra pieces since they are so lightweight. Be sure you have a good balance of casual tops for athletic activities and options you can dress up for fancy dinners or parties. A light sweater or wrap will keep you warm during cooler nights.

Bottoms and Dresses
It wouldn’t be summer without at least one summer dress. Don’t over-pack here, but think of dresses and skirts that can be worn in multiple combinations during your vacation. Mix and match between shorts, skorts, skirts and capris and choose these items in lightweight fabrics like linen.
